23 weeks pregnant! And now so obvious i have random people asking me how far along i am and finally putting on some weight! Yay! i was getting really nervous because up until the beginning of last week i was still siting at about 62/63 kgs and for the last few days in a row ive been sitting at around 68/69! which is good because it means im on track for how much weight i should be gaining. Its odd most people that haven't had a baby seem to think its a licence to eat all you can, but instead it becomes such diet, no not the "you have to lose weight so eat nothing" kind but the kind that means you should be packing on the omega 3, and eating lots of iron, drinking at least 4 glasses of milk a day and 6 glasses of water, while trying not to over eat and avoiding foods with bad fats in them (making all take aways off the menu). Only im not so disciplined, sometimes i will get chips, and often i will have a chocolate bar, and i still drink a can of coke at least every other day (which is actually fine, because you can have the equivalent of 3 cups of coffee a day and still be below your daily limit) but i think i would go a little mad without some junk food every now and then.
And sad to say but morning sickness seems to showing its ugly head again at the moment its just mild to really bad nausea but its bringing its friends extremely tired and food aversions with it, oh well it will all be worth it in the end :)

Baby facts of week 23
baby is weighing about 500 grams, its ears are now fully functional so it can hear sounds outside the womb! meaning that when a car door slams, someone talks near to the baby or something loud suddenly happens i get to feel a wee jiggle. Also the baby is light sensitive now so it will startle and blink when direct light is shone on my tummy!
